Should I stick with 32 bit or go back to 64 bit operating system? Since both can get root kits, My memory is only 4 GB can be upgraded though. I don't plan to upgrade memory. I found my 16 bit software works better in Lubuntu 64 bit with wine 32 installed. I don't use secure boot.

Error restoring split image file
I created a image file using Imagex, then used Imagex to split the file into 3.5GB chunks, then burned those to individual DVDs. Now when I try to restore them I get an error:
The specified image file did not contain a resource selection
I have tried both:
imagex /apply f:\image.swm 1 c:
and

System migrating and Bootmgr missing
I'm trying to move my OS to a new SSD but up until now I have failed miserably.

Installing new SSD, when to format old HDD?
My new SSD is coming in the next few hours and Im getting stuff over to my backup HDD. What Im curious to know is when should I format my old HDD with the old win7 OS? In case something goes wrong with the new install I'd like to have the old install as standby.

Clean install from partition via eRecovery tool never finished,BSOD

Keyboard and mouse not working when reinstalling Windows 7.
Hey.
When I try to reinstall Windows 7, I have to choose the keybaord settings and click on "next".
But the keyboard and mouse both not work, I tried it in USB 2.0 ports, 3.0 ports, and a lot of different keyboards, but I can't press "next" :/.
Does anyone has an idea?

Windows 7 has swapped my drive paths with my boot drive and sec. drive
I have just finished a pc build with a SSD to be used as the boot/OS drive and a secondary 2 HDD setup in raid 0 for storage.
First I started with the SSD only and installed win7, applied all the updates etc. At this point the system has rebooted at least half a dozen times with no issue.
