W7 Ultimate repair install last phase: Setup cannot continue
Windows 7 Ultimate installation not working properly.
Symptoms: Windows unstable; cant always get task manager to start; Windows explorer hangs; Safeboot with networking produces BSOD when when loading (CLASSPNP.SYS).
Checked the ususal stuff (CHKDSK; Scannow; virus, cleanboot etc) bit all come up clean so I tried a repair install.

Sysprep - want to remove audit mode
Yesterday, my laptop just failed to boot, tried all the system repair tools and they failed. So i ended up doing a factory reset. Now, everytime i boot, i get this setup is starting services, and a sysprep windows after booting. I want to get rid of it, together with the setup is starting services thing.

Wiping System to Re-install Win 7 - now "missing operating system"
I thought I would do a 'clean install' of Win 10 on my laptop. Used Killdisk to get rid of 2 of 3 partitions on my hard drive (not the OS partition). I must have done something wrong because now my system will not reboot. All I get is a message saying: "missing operating system". DVD Drivers
Made a USB stick with the ISO of Windows....I am trying to reinstall Windows 7 on my Dell laptop. I don't ha e an optical drive and its asking me for a driver for said DVD/CD drive.
Maybe a bad burn of the ISO on the thumb drive?

Only boots from the usb
I installed windows 7 on a brand new hd from a usb. Now it boot up normally with the usb stick. If I remove it I will get a blinking cursor. If i go to the bios and load up from the hd I get a blinking cursor. I have tried the startup repair yet no errors were found. I am running windows 7 x64 on my pc. Last day i downloaded windows 7 sp1 (iso file) from torrent for my friend and created a bootable usb and successfully installed in his pc. Asks for permission everytime I restart even thought UAC turned off
I have windows 7 64 bit on a Dell Optiplex.
I installed a program and every time I reboot windows 7 asks me for permission to run the program.
I have changed the user account controls to never notify, but it still comes up every time I reboot.
Any ideas?

I've been wanting to do this thing that I've heard about on this site for some time now,called a "clean install".
