I am thinking of buying a Toshiba Satellite P50-C-18M Laptop, Intel Core i7, 12GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 15.6" with Windows 10 installed. How difficult would it be to remove Windows 10 and install Windows 7. I'm reasonably computer savvy but have never wanted to go backwards with a Windows install. Mainly concerned about the Windows 10 compulsory updates and I prefer the Windows 7 GUI.

Can't do a fresh install of Windows 7.

Can not do a repair install for Win 7
I have win 7 X64 ultimate with SP1, it is an upgrade from 7 Pro and was done using a Anytime upgrade disk.
I Did a clean install several months ago and "windows" has some glitches or maybe did not get a good install.

I am starting to think that this laptops mobo or setup will not support some drivers for W7 as it originally came with W8.1

"CD/DVD device driver missing" w/ Win7 ultimate bootable USB
Hello all,
I created a Windows 7 ultimate bootable USB using Rufus and no matter what I try, I keep getting the "CD/DVD device driver missing" error. The bootable USB is fine, a friend tried it on his PC and got to the license agreement (which is the step I can't reach). I even tried using his external cd drive to install vista, just to see what would happen, and received the same error.
