New Dell i7559 laptop that I just installed 250gb Samsung m.2 and replaced the conventional hdd with a Samsung 850evo 500gb drive. Now trying to load win7pro and getting the red box warning, invalid signature. Needing step by step instructions here on how to procede. I can also remove the ssd's and restore back to oem, then take it to the shop which I'd rather not do.
Thanks

Installing new SSD & keeping Win7 on HDD
Hello, I'm getting a Samsung 850 Pro 512 SATA SSD today (should have went with ssd 5 years ago) & after reading up on everything about going from hdd os to ssd os for a few days now, in advance of installing it, I'm curious as to if I can use Win7 (from a Home Premium 64-bit retail DVD) to dual-boot using both drives? Why would I? Because I'd like to keep the OS installed on the HDD and be able...

Solved Win 7 Clean install new build errors - Help me find a pattern/cause
Hello!
I've been trying to install win7 ultimate Upgrade on a M.2 SSD (SM951 Nvme). I have found a Nvme SSD driver that i could load during setup that shows my drive. Since this was quite an ordeal I will try and retrace my steps here:
1) In BIOS I set PCI-EX16_3 Bandwidth to X4, and SATA Mode Configuration to M.2
2) I run win7 install from a retail Upgrade DVD
3) When the installer...

I have read several threads with similar issue. Some of them suggest to work in regedit (see Suggestion 1 below) but...

Dual Booting Windows 10 and Windows 7 drivers question
Hey Guys,
I just built this Computer and I installed Windows 10 on it. I wanted to play a game on it so I wanted to install windows 7 on the hard drive too. And know when the installation finished, none of my drivers from the other os didn't copy to this os. So would I have to re-install the Mobo drivers and my graphics card drivers?
Thanks,

So I'm not able to boot into my Windows 7 Ultimate due to bad sectors (ran a check disk from the installation on my USB but it failed on the 5th step which leads me to this conclusion).
All I know is that Windows 7 installation doesn't have a full format option.
At the moment of typing this I'm trying to do a full format with Windows XP setup to map out bad sectors, but for some reason the...

How to dual boot Win 10 & win 7 after win 7 updated to win 10?
OK, maybe my title is confusing, but I am wondering if it is possible to first upgrade my present win 7 OS to win 10 than do a clean install of win 10, then dual boot with a fresh install of win 7 in a dual boot configuration? Reason behind this is that if I just upgrade to win 10 only, I will have to buy a new scanner, fax modem, printer and various software programs that are presently not...
