I have a problem installing windows 7 on my laptop.
So here is the problem : I put an boot-able usb with windows 7 into usb port and start the installation. The windows is copying files and then comes the windows logo and then the PC restarts and goes into infinite loop.

UEFI Dual Boot Windows 10 and Windows 7 x64 on SSD Drive?
Hi everyone, my new laptop has a normal hard drive and also has a 128gb Samsung m.2 ssd drive.
I was able to install a fresh dual boot on the regular hard drive. First Windows 10 then Windows 7 using usb method which included embedding the usb 3 drives.
Now for the ssd I shrunk down half the drive after Windows 10 was installed so I could install Windows 7. Followed pretty much the same...

Difficulty in trying dual boot
I saw in another thread about Zorin being a good Linux based system to dual boot my old Toshiba with the Windows 7 Pro already on it.
Now I have tried a bootable disk and USB stick (made with Rufus) and set the boot order to the USB but the old girl is just refusing to boot the Zorin so I can set it up.
Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong as I have watched some YouTubes to see how it is...

Can I use my registered copy of windows on a factory reset PC ?

How to Get OEM Disks and do a Fresh install

So for example someone has a Sony Vaio laptop w/Win7 Home 64 and it needs a reinstall. The original disk/media is gone and any backup image on the hard disk is gone. If I go to Access Denied (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7) it asks for a key. I find that any key for a preinstalled Win7 never works.
