Hey guys my friend gave me laptop and it got bitlocked. I am trying to install windows 7 from usb but i can't access bios or anything. Keeps on asking me to enter the password which i don't know. Tried DBAN software on usb but it did not work also because of bitlocker. :confused:

Im based out of India, and today i have this machine which has pre-installed version of W10 X86.
It is a home edition.
However, i tried to install W7 X64 on this machine, but could not as it has 32gb eMMC, which is a GPT.
I created a USB fr GPT. Setup started and then after a while it failed.

Solved Clean install W7 without extra partitions
There are three partitions currently on my disk.
I know that 100Mb section is for boot files and a reserved section (14Gb, really???) is for recovery. But I would prefer to have just *one* solid partition with all boot files on it and with no extra partitions. System x64 but can only have Windows 7 x32
Hi,
My Laptop is a x64 bit and tried to load windows 7 x64 but it won't allow it at all, so I could only load windows 7 x32 bits.
In my sytem it shows only x32 bits and not x64 bits. Anyone knows a way to correct this?

How to Delete an Operating System Listed in Windows Boot Manager
I am facing problem in my laptop, I'm having dualboot of Windows 10 and Windows 7. I installed Ubuntu 17.04 in external HDD and using the same for few days. later I removed Ubuntu from external HDD but I am unable to clear OS Ubuntu boot option from Boot menu. I tried bcdedit command, used easybcd and msconfig but it is not getting removed.
