Solved Dual boot Sony Vaio Z
Trying to put Ubuntu on my Sony Vaio Z131190X with an existing Windows 7 install. I get as far as grub-installl, and it fails. I'm pretty sure it is due to the RAID 0 configuration, but is there a workaround for this? I need both OS's on the laptop.

Installing Win7-Thin on USB, would not boot on other pcs

How to get back Recovery partition into use?
I own a Dell XPS L502x. (i7,8GB,750GB,2GB nVidia 540m). Since my laptop purchase, I have completely reinstalled Windows 7 Home Premium twice. I just format 'C:', and install windows in it. Now i found that, i could have used my recovery partition to reinstall.

Sysprep/OOBE - Installing new hardware

Win 7 installation plan for rebuilt computer - please review/advise.
Current machine is 5 years old, running Win7 Ultimate 32 bit. Doing a hardware refresh after a lightning strike fried some components. (note: system specs is for the replacement equipment)

So this is probably a silly question that has been answered a hundred times already, but I couldn't find any specifics in my search.

Can't install "easy soft", ISScript.msi issue.
I am trying to install "Easy Soft 6 Pro" on my laptop and I get this message attached below. I checked the required version for the InstallScript engine and it is 10.50.0.125 to install this software so I downloaded the isScript 1050 and it was successfully installed but I still have the same problem.
