How to Copy ALL setting from Old PC to New PC

Hi I have a new PC that will eventually replace an old PC. It is in a network. I am having so much trouble trying to get the New PC onto the network, I have thought of another way to skin the cat. If I copy ALL set-ups and configurations from Old PC to New PC… will that work AND HOW do you do it???
