Do I use these discs to do the Repair Install?

My single HDD machine came with the OS installed and no discs. When I am at the top level I see icons for a C drive labeled 'HP'(588GB), a D drive labeled 'FACTORY_IMAGE'(12GB) - and a E drive labeled 'DVD RW Drive'. After a short time a pop-up appeared directing me to obtain blank dvd discs and proceed to create a software disc to use in the event I needed to reinstall the OS. So, my question is...
