I have been in startup hell for over a week. I own three disks. One is a Ubuntu disk that installed the GRUB2 bootloader on all disks, another disk is Win7 Home Premium, and the third is Win 7 Pro.

Installing win7 on an SSD - missing driver
I'm trying to install windows 7 onto a new ssd (samsung 970 evo) and it's being installed from a working computer with windows 10. I loaded the windows 7 cd into the drive, started the installation process, and got to the "expanding files" part before it put out an error stating that it can't install windows due to a missing driver.

C:\ will boot but is not system partition

Experience upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 8 & 8.1

I have a computer that has an OEM version of Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I have many programs installed that are old but still work great and that i use everyday for work. How to setup default View in WinExplorer from Media--->General?
At first I connect a SmartPhone through USB cable to my WinDesktop computer and open a directory on this SmartPhone in my local Windows Explorer.
The default view is (presumably) "Media View".
Right side of WinExplorer shows columns like Artist, Track number, Type" although I am browsing a pure data file directory on the SmartPhone.

Dual boot setup help

Upgrading Windows 7 System to Windows 10
With the end of life cycle coming in January for Windows 7, I was wondering if anyone had any good tips, when assessing if whether a not a Windows 7 computer is even worth updating to Windows 10.
I work at a business, and currently we have approx. 17 computers using Windows 7 that need to be updated before the January 2020.

UEFI Enabled Install
Guys, I'm confused...again haha!
Some of these Windows 7 machines have UEFI to some extent. At least they have the option for Secure Boot and Switching Off UEFI, and just use Legacy. My issue is, when I go to install to a machine that came with Windows 7, but had the Windows 10 Upgrade, I don't know if I can chose the UEFI Entry at boot or not?

Too many Win7 profiles
I've been setting up the Gateway (Gate in the network) machine in my sig, with Win 7. I had some issues that are too long to explain, but the result is that I had to make a profile 3 times before I got one that works. It's supposed to be named "Prize-02" and I deleted the old ones in the Ctrl Panel>User Accounts each time I made a new one.

2 small problems in a new re-installation
--I don't know what this is called, so I can't look it up. On my new installation, if a resized window gets near the edge of the screen, it maximizes and makes the window flash for a moment.
--I'm using the Classic theme, similar to XP. The text in Windows Explorer is too small, and there's no setting for that in Ctl Panel>Personalization>Window Color.
