So, I had to reformat my hard drive (long story)... Went fine but (once everything was back up and running) I forgot to hide then uninstall the KB3035583 update that downloads the windows 10 update.
Even though I've uninstalled it now, Windows must have downloaded the W10 update files and tries (and fails for some reason) to install it every morning at 3 a.m. It's really annoying. Just glad...

Windows Boot manager does not find the boot drive
Hi,
Have a new computer with freshly installed W7 on a SSD drive. The computer boots properly unless external HD are connected. If I have external HDs connected (USB 3) it fails to find windows. I've been into the BIOS and there Windows Boot Manager is set as first choice and I have disabled booting from external drives.

One Drive Two Situations
Hello
The computer has a C drive and a D drive both with almost the same folders and files.
I want to delete/format D drive however it is the Program Files and Program Files (x86) and the Windows 7 OS.
On D drive Program Files (x86) is missing.

Problem after Downgrading from Windows 10 -> Windows 7
My laptop had installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. I have upgraded with no problem to Windows 10.
Then I started facing a lot of problems and I was forced to downgrade to Windows 7 again but I have used a USB containing Windows 7 Home Premium.

Solved SATA HDD format causes BOOT failure
hello. my desktop has 2 SATA HDDs. WD 1TB SATA6 & SAMSUNG 160GB SATA3. I was doing Windows 7 installation on the 1st HDD(WD) using the 2nd one(Samsung).
