My HP desktop is a dual boot Windows 7 and Linux Mint 17.2 PC. I have 2 640 GB HDs. I thought when I installed Windows 7 it would install to one 640 GB. I installed Linux and it asks where to install and on what HD. I installed to the 2nd 640GB HD. When I use a Linux disk tool, it shows "some Linux" on both drives as well as some W7 on each HD. SFC /scannow reveals corrupt files after failed windows 10 upgrade
I honestly have no idea how to replace the corrupted files as I do not know where to get them. I have found a tutorial by microsoft explaining how to replace them, but not WHERE to get them. If there is an alternative method to fixing it, that would be great.

Solved Swapping versions W7
This will be a little convoluted so bear with me. I have two systems, an older 980X system with W7 Pro 64 and a newer 3770 with W7 Home 64. What I ultimately want to do is upgrade the 3770 to W10 PRO.
My thinking is that if I could switch the OS between the 980 system to the 3770 I could then upgrade the 3770 to 10 PRO.

Acronis 13 Clone Disc HD to SSD Questions
Hi,
I have decided to replace my failing HD w/ a SSD. My question is when I go to clone the disc using Acronis should I first format the SSD to NTSF or will the clone process do that for myself. If I have to format the SSD how do I go about that (I has been quite awhile)
