Because all the new laptops are with W10 but I prefer W7,
can I clean install (or downgrade?) W7 over OEM W10 and then activate it? (with the same lisence)
I have 2 OEM lisences for W7 from older dead laptops but I think I cannot use them
in the new hardware. So what is the best to do without to buy new lisence for W7?

Solved Moving Boot files to Correct Drive
Hello and thank you for your help. First time posting here. I have a problem that has been going on for days and driving me crazy.
I got a new SSD/HDD combo drive. I was moving all my files and partitions around and I deleted the System Partition on both my bootable drives.

I have this imac from late 2009.
Nice computer even it's 7 years old.
But I'm a windows guy... is it possible to complete erase the imac and install windows 7 from my bootable win 7 installation?

Win 7 Updates Get Started Problem.
I wanted to update the Win7 on my Dual boot Win 7 / Win 10 laptop.

Windows 7 sp1 is supposed to be installed but sp1not installed.
I had a tech upgrade my laptop to windows 7 sp1( I have the disc) . I use this laptop for back up and trips away. When I tried to upgrade to 10 I was getting upgrades failing. security upgrades installed fine.

4TB GPT Not Booting - UEFI - WINDOWS 7 64 Bit
Problem is WINDOWS 7 does not boot from the 4TB disk alone. There is a 2 line error message "ReBoot and Select Proper Boot Device Or Insert Boot Media in Selected Boot device and press a key". The system boots only when both the hard disks are connected.

I need to reinstall Win 7 on my pc after my HD failed. I am thinking of using a SSD as the new primary drive.

Hey, I'm having a lot of trouble with installing Windows 7 on a Lenovo Ideapad 100S. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate x86 on a USB using the USB DVD Tool, but it isn't detected on the system's boot menu no matter what I do. GPartEd works fine, which is confusing me even more. Afternoon all from a reasonably decent day (weather wise) in the UK.
Using an old business PC i was given by I.T at work, it had W7 64bit Ultimate on.
